Meet the 2010 Summer Company Students
Christopher Nuttley, Evan Brown, Shannon Gerow, Tiia Pajos, Curtis Lush
Six students from the Collingwood/South Georgian Bay Region took part in the Summer Company program in 2010. Managed by the Small Business Enterprise Centre and funded by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Summer Company Program helps students set up and operate their own business. Each student receives $1,500 in start-up funding, and an additional $1,500 upon successful program completion in August.
Christopher Nuttley of Creemore is operating Nuttley's Outdoor Labourand Painting. Evan Brown from Collingwood is operating EZ Lawn Care. Shannon Gerow from Stayner is operating Put Your Best Paw Forward Dog Walkers. Curtis Lush of Clarksburg has a company called Juggles. He entertains at various events. Amanada Winters from Singhampton is running a company she created called Beaver River Stone Landscaping.
